      Ayurvedic View:

Reproductive health according to ayurveda is depends on the health of ‘Shukra dhatu’ or reproductive tissue, in female shukra is present in the form of “ovum” as a part of monthy menstrual cycle, and in men it present in the form of “semen” which is formed due to sexual stimulation. As we know shukra dhatu is created  with a part of a long chain metabolic  transformations, it starts with the digestion of food then get converted into nutrient plasma, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow, and finally to shukra tissue (seminal fluid) due to systemic metabolism. It should be healthy transformation to obtain better quality of shukra dhatu, i.e. semen in males & ovum in females which leads to healthy pregnancy.

This process is better compared in ayurveda to the process of farming, in which the health of corps depends on the quality of soil, seed, timing of sowing, and amount of watering or vital nutrients, just like same healthy pregnancy in a couple depends on Sperm/ Ovum (seeds), Uterus (soil), Nourishment (water), Timing for conception (timing of sowing).

      Treatment:

      • Diagnosing the actual cause behind infertility in men or women
      • Implementation of ‘ART’ directly acts on quality of semen or ovum (shukra dhatu) by rejuvenating other body systems or tissues.
      •  Stimulation & repairing of reproductive organs like uterus, ovaries, endometrium, fallopian tubes in females to obtain normal healthy ovulation and testes in males for better spermatogenesis.
      • Balancing of reproductive hormones specially estrogens, progesterone, FSH, LH, prolactin  etc. in female and testosterone in male.
      • Healthy diet & life style advice.
